School Mission
Four Directions Academy provides culturally-based education that is the foundation of life-long learning for American Indian students. Four Directions was recently founded to address the unique needs of American Indian students. FDCS offers effective educational programs that are the essential academic and social support needed to lessen the negative impact of poverty on the academic success of our students.
The school is dedicated to providing following:
a welcoming and understanding learning environment for American Indian Students and friends
an academic environment that supports a culturally-based curriculum
a supportive community and social services provided in part through our sponsor, Upper Midwest American Indian Center

Four Directions Academy has an outstanding leadership group serving on its school board. The following individuals, meet bi-monthly during the school year to make the overriding decisions that ensure the school’s ongoing success. The following currently serve on Four Direction’s board:
